Contact Making Seminar - CONNECTer – Actively greening the society Venue: SpejderHolmen Copenhagen(Denmark) Planed dates 15-21 March 2021; Countries involved – Germany, Latvia, Italy, Romania, Spain, Poland, and Denmark Number of participants - 35 The participants are youngsters from 7 different countries. The participating organizations are of different profile (NGO, youth organization, an informal group of young people etc) and various level of experience (newcomers and organizations with 8-year-international experience) Project context: Strong community/network helps young people to develop social abilities, gives a sense of sharing and caring for each other. Activation of local community - can be the answer for many youth challenges - promoting diversity and intercultural dialogue, pro-environmental behavior, critical thinking, sense of initiative. It can be also a strong base for Erasmus + Mobility projects for Youth. The main aim of CONNECTer is to create space for youth interested in working in the Erasmus field, to know each other, and make partnerships for potential future Erasmus+ Mobility projects (YE, TC, etc ) with a focus on local community / or its active engagement in green projects and climate action. Our objectives: - Build a network of youth interested in starting new organizations or designing their own Erasmus projects. - Build new qualitative partnerships and create new green project ideas/drafts within Erasmus+ in the youth field - Exchange of good practices and ideas for interesting local activities/actions that promote responsible consumption and active participation - Increase participants profiles on their local labor market and develop their employment opportunities - Create an atmosphere of common understanding between participants representing different cultures, languages, working styles, etc - Create a network of participants/organizations that can continue fruitful cooperation after the end of the project All the activities will be made using methods of non-formal education, focused on acquiring knowledge through interactive discussions, ideas exchange (e.g exercises from Theater of the oppressed, etc ). All the activities are planed and conducted with pro-active and practice-oriented approach. YE results - a common collection of hints and tips for the topic of Erasmus + Mobility projects for Youth. During YE participants will “record short videos” Tips and Hints on writing, implementing, evaluating "mobility youth projects" with “local flavor”. Also as the result of CMS will be created 5-6 drafts for mobility projects which we hope will be implemented. Important to underline, that strong cooperation between project partners will not stop only at the draft level, no matter if applied or not. Our CMS is about starting a network of organizations, that can apply for different common projects -activating local societies and international cooperation.
