Objectives: To introduce participants to what is inclusion & disability, what is an inclusive group; To introduce participants to inclusive youth work foundation & share best practices in working with diverse groups of young people; To analyze learning needs of young people including young people with special needs; To introduce game-based learning & gamification for youth workers/ youth leaders to incorporate in own work; To provide methods & tools of game design to create inclusive tabletop games; To develop & test a set of 5 educational tabletop game concepts to be used in inclusive youth work; The training is designed in a practical manner to equip participants with needed skills and knowledge as well as empower them and develop confidence to take up innovative approaches in their work with young people. All partners aim to deepen their knowledge and competence in the application of non-formal methods of education in inclusive work. We are sure that the game is one of the most interesting formats. Games are an effective tool to support instruction in the work of inclusive groups. When your students know how to play a game, they can play it independently. Some board games and many electronic games are available commercially or online, but they don't always support the skills that your students need to build.
