With the project "YOUth for Sustainability" we wanted to promote self-sustainability, food sustainability and biodiversity through different non-formal activities and creation of (digital) tools to promote it to non-participants as well. The objectives of this project were: To understand the importance of biodiversity; To show how to work with nature; To promote self-sustainability; To understand the role of food in our lives; To empower participants to grow their own food; To involve the local community in our activities; To give the participants the knowledge and skills to fight for nature; To give an understanding about Erasmus+ and its opportunities; The inclusion of youth with fewer opportunities; To promote the general EU values; To develop language skills; The inclusion of youth with fewer opportunities. The main outcome of this project was planned to create different digital tools (brochure, video, visual, photo gallery) that promote self-sustainability through growing your own food and show the participants how humankind can work together with nature instead of destroying it.
