The aim, why we want to carry out this project and youth exchange is to empower youngsters to be more included in local solutions and politics making. We want to emphasize and bring out more visual global impact on nature and one’s influence with more environmentally friendly solutions. Youngsters are the changemakers and they have naturally the force to see what's necessary to change in their own actions/lifestyle/politcs at home etc. What we mean by that is that we want to create space in the venue of Harmi, where youngsters can share, inspire and come up with solutions as we aim to reach disadvantaged rural areas with less opportunities for youth. Through a supportive environment where they can bring solutions into practice, the learning outcome is the best. Youngster will develop soft skills, such as non-violent communication, teamwork, problem solving skills; but also to develop actual skills of project planning; natural building; nature knowledge etc. We see that it's necessary to give rural youngsters opportunity to share space in international atmosphere and find connections worldwide as it's empowering. And we aim to raise awareness in our societies. It is empowering for youngsters to give them “free hands” and to be responsible for their own actual projects. Through non-formal and informal learning what project creation is, youngsters learn a lot and they spread their knowlegde further as leading the way. By the end of the project youngsters spread their knowledge, be the changemakers and progressive leaders as they've been empowered by sharing concerns and solutions globally during the youth exchange. We want to bring youth together, in order to create an international atmosphere and diversity where youngsters can learn from each-other; learn from different cultures and share global concern from different locations and problems. We will do cooperation with local community, local youngsters, local youthcenter etc. To be inclusive and fully grasping the whole exchange in it's context and surroundings. We want to create learning space where we give and ask problems to solve: today's youngsters share many concerns of different aspects. Project objective is to find common ground and aspect that interests everyone on sustainability and work on solutions that can be implemented in their countries. With a project implementation we want to come to an actual practical solutions on the spot: create and actual outcome of the exchange for youngster to see and feel that they're capable of creating a sustainable change and coming up with solutions. We ensure to have support from groupleaders and facilitators that actual projects would emerge. We intend to have time for socialising and free activities as freedom and boredom create creativity. Part of being sustainable is also valuing our nature and we will be close to nature for grounding and self-exploration. Objective of the project is also to have reflection and feedback sessions every day: to learn how to speak up, open up, be constructive with words and share empathy.
