The main objective of our project was the complete integration of refugees and immigrants in a local, rural, isolated society and the promotion of social cohesion. An extended approach to their exclusion has been chose, with the focus being on the interdependent relation, the link between social and vocational integration. Our project aimed to achieve a satisfying level of social development combined with a stable and high-quality level of participation in the job market. Our focus was on the continuous and ever-evolving needs of a population “on the move”, both through formal and informal educational activities of raising awareness in the local community, offering work mentoring and cultural guidance as well as support towards the refugees.
