This project was proposed because: 1. The experience and involvement in issues of vocational education and training for the disabled, as well as the research study of the "ESAMEA Observatory" showed that the unemployment rates of the disabled and those suffering from chronic diseases, in the ages 25-39 are high (40%) This index receives its highest value at the ages of 25-29 and stands at 58.2%, 60.4% of the population with severe disabilities and 39.2% with moderate activity disability do not participate in the country's workforce. 83% of young people with disabilities aged 20-24, 72% of young people with disabilities aged 25-29 and 55.5% of people aged 30-34 have no work experience, which is largely due to the lack of specialized vocational training and training. for students and young people with disabilities, which does not allow them equal access to the labor market. 2. A second reason is that, according to the Special Register of Unemployed of OAED. have received any form of organized education and training ONLY 2% of the 26,884 young people with disabilities who are registered, finally 3. There is no connection of the schools / centers of education and training of the disabled and young people with chronic diseases with the internship and the real needs of the labor market, while there is no certification of professional qualifications for young people with disabilities (except for HEIs & ATEIs). PURPOSE of the project is to discuss the issue of organized training for young people with disabilities and chronic diseases (COPD) and to gather successfully implemented models and policies from partner countries and disseminate them. SIDE GOALS: a. to present the legal & institutional framework and to discuss similarities and differences, b. to explore effective ways of planning and organizing vocational education & training for the disabled / disabled, in areas that each organization specializes in eg tourism, catering, sports, volunteering, culture and connection with the internship c. to learn from each other, how to adapt curricula, and implement policies at a theoretical and practical level IN REAL TIME OR DISTANCE, including people at risk of exclusion and their families, d. to strengthen the professional and personal profile of the participants, cultivating values of life such as: respect for human rights, equal opportunities, solidarity and participation in education and the labor market, which will be an added value for our own the organization and the local community, e. to benefit the Youth Workers (YW) by gaining new knowledge which they will spread to the young people of their own organization on issues that this project is negotiating, acting as multipliers. The role of distance learning and communication will be the catalyst here. f. to develop critical thinking, empathy and become better able to take initiatives compatible with national and European priorities, while promoting the acceptance of diversity as part of diversity in education and the workplace; g. to improve their language & digital skills, remote participation and cooperation (transmission of workshops) and to have cultural exchange, h. to ensure the recognition of the skills acquired from the specific activity which will be certified by the Youth Pass they will receive, i. to build networks and collaborations for after the completion of the program, j. to achieve the improvement of their professional and personal development and to support their participation, as active citizens in the European becoming and beyond. It is strongly linked to the goals of Erasmus + as priorities of Europe. youth policy is: education (formal, non-formal and informal), employment, equal participation without exception of all those at risk of exclusion. This category also includes young people with disabilities and chronic diseases, as they are known to receive lower quality education and share less or no share of the labor market. In order to achieve the purpose and goals, a daily program has been designed with visits, meetings, discussions and simulations to meet the needs of the participants for acquiring and exchanging knowledge on the issues negotiated by the project. The issues that will be addressed will concern the Vocational Education and Training for the Disabled (I) the structures in which it is implemented, (II) the way the programs are designed and implemented, (III) how they are adapted according to the degree and type of disability (vision problems, Down Syndrome, autism, mental retardation), as well as (V) the places where they take place (IEK, OAED, YPAITH, nurseries, patisseries, Associations, Creative Employment Centers, Gyms-sports venues ... etc
