This youth worker training brought together a diverse international group of participants, in a mountain location immersed completely in nature, to share experiences and receive training on ecosocial design and ways to integrate attitudes and behaviours that promote positive change towards a sustainable, enriching life. The partner organisations identified a need for innovative ways to transmit ecological values and the idea of holistic design to young people. The problem of youth unemployment stunts the emancipation and vital development of Young people, especially in rural areas or when they lack the qualifications demanded in the labour market. We addressed issues such as the importance of ecology and a holistic vision, climate change. The project was based on the Permaculture Design Certificate course with methodology of non-formal education that particularly resonates with young people as they become environmentally conscious, learn vital skills and seek employment. The objectives of this training for youth workers were: - Provide a space to share positive narratives of collaboration, reflection skills, self-care and transversal attitudes focused on the personal growth of youth - Explore designs that are regenerative to apply in their lives and future projects. - Carry out practical tasks to experience and question regeneration in Sanilles. - Live in community during the activity and learn from experience techniques to facilitate group cohesion - Encourage the exchange of perspectives on the specific problems and solutions of young people in the countries of the participants - Build a network of international contacts between organizations linked to the project, sustained over time to develop future projects.
