Obre't Ebre organisation has a long experience in projects with young people at an international level. In addition to projects related to the Terres de l'Ebre territory and related to local and sustainable development at the local level, as well as the care and protection of the environment and intangible heritage. In this sense, the general objectives of the project seek to promote intercultural dialogue through the values of the rural world with young people from different rural areas of Europe and Spain. As well as the awareness of the young participants about the benefits of cultural and environmental values. Regarding the learning of the participants, the project proposes to make known sustainable traditional techniques for the preservation of the environment and learn about the values, origins and techniques of traditional music in each country as a tool for social cohesion. At the end of the exchange, the young people will have to develop an artistic intervention that includes both dimensions. Finally, at a general level, it is intended to value the rural world, inspiring the participants to foster a critical spirit, to be more proactive and to create more awareness to respect human values. In addition, it is also intended that there is a transgenerational dialogue between young people and people of different ages. In the exchange, other specific objectives are also proposed at an environmental and social level, such as environmental awareness through learning and knowledge about the environment and its valuation. Regarding the objectives related to social inclusion, the aim is to promote solidarity, tolerance and mutual understanding among young people from different countries.
