Through our project "Ideas for Change" we have sought to work holistically and through non-formal education and the promotion of active citizenship with practical tools to promote social entrepreneurship and social activism among the youngest. In the drafting and planning of this project, we have focused on raising awareness in European countries about social actions with impact, which can lead to a significant change in our current societies, making them more inclusive and respectful of the diversity of people and environments. But we know that this is not enough, that the situation continues to be critical in many aspects and therefore we must continue working to create a culture of peace that is more prolific and respectful of diversity. For this reason, through Ideas for Change we wanted to influence the necessary objectives for a more sustainable and inclusive society. Therefore, the main objectives of this project have focused on: - Increase the knowledge of the participants about the reality of social activism in their own territories; - Getting them to connect with their internal motivations; - Increase their sense of initiative and spirit of leadership; - Increase the knowledge of the participants about the reality of participatory democracy in their own territories; - Advise them on how to transform ideas into projects and initiatives; - Promote responsibility when making decisions; - Motivate them by showing examples of different people with whom they can empathize; - Exchange experiences to learn about the realities of the participating countries; - Obtain the key knowledge to have a global vision of how to start a social activism project; - Work on cooperation and collaboration skills; - Exchange and share knowledge; - Development of team management skills, communication and empathy; - Train emotional management and have tools for self-knowledge; - Deepen the knowledge of the social, economic and environmental reality of their own countries and of the other participating community countries; - Work on attitudes of cooperation and collaboration against the most widespread strategies of competition; - Increase the sense of a unified Europe and become more socially active citizens; - Better understand the Youthpass certificate; - Learn more about other European programs or opportunities; - Create bonds of friendship between people from other countries, religions, ideologies, etc.
