One of the main reasons for the idea process for this activity was that quality agreements and projects should emerge for the mobility of young people with fewer opportunities (hereinafter, FOY). This required knowing the organization, the people who would manage it and knowing in detail the profile of the participants. We thought that doing so would also allow us to meet other youth professionals from different countries, organizations that work with FOY and their realities/difficulties. Another of the purposes pursued by this meeting is to gain in-depth knowledge of the network, who makes it up and what its objectives are. In this sense, we believed that it was very important to establish its strategies, initiatives and future steps. The OBJECTIVES of this project have been related to the work done, but have also generated steps to develop new elements in the network and in the work with young people. - Analyze the situation or the results of the participation of young FOY in the CES and E+ programme. - Search, review and select methodologies that facilitate the participation of young FOY and help to carry out a successful project. - Detect gaps, conflicts or problems in the current FOY youth participation system, particularly in the CES and E+ exchanges. - Promote the quality of mobility projects carried out with young FOY. - Exchange experiences, knowledge and methodologies between entities. - Promote knowledge and dissemination of the GAIN network and increase its members. In the idea process, we believed that regardless of the measures established by the program, at a practical level the participation of FOY youth continues to have added difficulties that these aforementioned measures do not resolve. For example, the criteria for the selection of a volunteer to volunteer in the European Solidarity Corps is the decision of the host entity; The difficulties involved in hosting a young person with some social, mobility or training difficulty make many of the host entities select another type of profile. Likewise, in the event that an entity selects a European volunteer considered to have fewer opportunities, it does not imply that the entity has adapted or prepared the project for this project to be a success, and in these cases this is of great importance since an unsuccessful project can frustrate the young participant even more. Something similar happens in youth exchanges and in other European activities that involve the mobility of young people. These problems were raised in the context of a group of entities that work with young people with social difficulties and the implementation of a Key Action 2 project for the Exchange of Good Practices was promoted to develop the issue and seek solutions. The "Youth Access to Grow" project was in charge of analyzing the situations in different countries (Bulgaria, Portugal, Estonia, Georgia, Poland and Spain) and being able to create connections so that the entities knew the work, the profiles of the young people and the type of projects carried out by other entities in order to promote the mobility of young FOY with guarantees of success.
