“World Clock" aimed to work and deepen together with 42 young people from different countries (Spain, Italy, France, Poland, Bulgaria, Croatia, Estonia and Turkey) to enable them to actively contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at the heart of the 2030 Agenda. This required participants to fully understand the Sustainable Development Goals through the exchange of ideas, experiences and tools, and organisational support through activities to raise awareness of the SDGs and promote their development at local levels. Thanks to the involvement of the participants in the activities and, in general, throughout the project, it was possible to offer a space for meeting, dialogue and reflection, which allowed an analysis both on a personal and global level of how this pandemic was affecting us all, at different levels; the participants were able to improve and understand in depth the SDGs and therefore also the importance of their individual role in the global recovery. Thanks to the encounter between young people from different countries and cultures, and the cooperation that was established, participants identified opportunities in some SDGs where they could actively participate, and designed and implemented initiatives in line with the achievement of these goals, empowering themselves as agents of change. All this, thanks to the intercultural context, was done based on a common awareness of European values and using as one of the tools the promotion of the Erasmus+ programme and the European Solidarity Corps.
