This project has been directly linked to the objectives of the Erasmus+ program and to Key Action 1, specifically with regard to improving the skills and competencies of young people. Likewise, and consistent with the objectives of Erasmus+, with this exchange we wanted to promote participatory citizenship, social inclusion and intercultural dialogue, as well as provide mobility opportunities for both young people and youth leaders, promoting cooperation between different countries and entities and strengthening links and work networks. We believe that "To Be SAFE" has been a good experience for young people, in which they have broadened their knowledge and improved in the field of communication. We believe that through this experience the participants have been able to discover everything they have in common with people from other countries and, with this, lose many of the prejudices or avoid having them in the future. We also believe it has been a great opportunity to discover new interests and test self-limits in a controlled, non-judgmental environment. Finally, this exchange has also been a way to value the natural heritage, something that we often do not pay attention to and that in some cases, little by little, is being destroyed, in part, due to our indifference. Main goal: - Offer learning opportunities to young people with fewer opportunities through sports and outdoor activities. Specific objectives: - Promote social development and personal growth through sports and outdoor activities. - Improve social skills and the creation of positive and healthy personal relationships. - Improve foreign language skills. - Raise awareness of the reality of a diverse world: learning and intercultural dialogue. - Raise awareness of the importance of preserving the environment The project was developed in Tunisia with the participation of 24 young people (aged between 18 and 26), some of them at risk of social exclusion, and 8 youth workers from the countries represented. Outdoor activities have been carried out with different approaches (teamwork, self-improvement, confidence, respect for the environment, etc.), sessions on environmental issues, nutrition, survival, cultural sessions organized by each country, workshops on "intercultural cooking ”, cultural visits and international evenings. In order to value the learning dimension of this experience, evaluation and reflection sessions, debates and working groups were held. The activity has been carried out in 3 different locations, Hammamed, Douz and Tunis. Regarding COVID-19, protocols have been established to minimize the risks of contagion and the current law and the hostel's rules have been respected at all times.
