Objectives

Currently, the EU is facing technological, cultural and social changes. Its citizens have never faced such rapid growth, which in turn is coupled with a growing demand for transformation. Therefore, launching a competitive economy and a healthy social environment became a fundamental theme of the EU. "Young people have been disproportionately affected by economic and social difficulties and, with one in five young people at risk of poverty and social exclusion, they are now the most vulnerable age group." (www.youthforum.org/pressrelease/council-of-europe-adopts-recommendation-on-young-peoples-access-to-rights/) According to the EU 2020 Strategy portal (http://ec.europa.eu/eurostat/statistics-explained/index.php/Statistics_on_young_people_neither_in_employment_nor_in_education_or_training), the dropout rate in the EU is 15%, while the rate of Unemployment among young people in the EU is more than 20%, which is twice the unemployment rate of all age groups combined. Currently in the EU there are 12% of young people between 15 and 24 years old in NEET situations, although these figures have up to 19.7% for young people between 25 and 29 years old, which shows a structural problem for the entire EU, you are creating and maintaining an invisible generation. The situation of NEETs in some EU states is even more dramatic, reaching 33.5% in Italy or 36.2% in Greece. Spain is in a not so radical situation, but well above the 12% average, with 20.8% of young people in this situation With a young generation at risk of poverty (under 18 - 26.9% and over - 31.2%), the EU misses the opportunity to use its most valuable resource and lacks the necessary measures to ensure a proactive approach. Without competent intervention and professional assistance and guidance from youth workers and NGOs, they rarely find the chance for a better life. It should be noted that the characteristics of the group require specific approaches and tools for motivation. In response to the problem and according to the needs analysis, our project seeks to develop the skills of 26 youth workers in order to face the obstacles of NEET young people and empower them with tools that provide them with a competitive entry into the labor market through entrepreneurship. Our Target Group is made up of YW who actively work with young people in this situation, but the indirect beneficiaries of our project will be the NEETs themselves. Therefore, by equipping youth workers with the educational tools necessary to analyze the reality of youth in their respective countries, it is achieved, at the same time, empowering young people to turn their potentials into opportunities. In this way, it seeks to achieve the following objectives: 1.- Equip 26 YW involved in working with NEETs, of 8 European nationalities, with skills and competencies to be able to support this vulnerable group more effectively through the promotion of self-employment. 2.- Provide 26 YW with the opportunity to experience motivational techniques and workshops based on NFE, which help young people to express themselves through various means, with the aim of paving the way towards entrepreneurship 3.- Support the capacity of YWs to implement smart youth work in a way that enhances the entrepreneurial capacities of young people. 4.- Develop a sustainable work network among the youth organizations participating in the project, creating stronger links for future projects 5.- To jointly develop or share, among the participants, innovative models, intervention methods, tools or programs that are adequate to support this vulnerable target group. For example, the use of the "video CV" or the Youth Guarantee Program. 6.- Promote the E + program among the beneficiaries as well as the possibilities offered by the EU for working with young people in this situation 7.- Generate among youth workers, as well as their work groups, a feeling of belonging to the European Union, where they can face this situation of vulnerability with a common strategy The transnationality of the project follows the objectives of the framework for cooperation of the European Union in the field of youth for the application of the principles of lifelong learning and mobility, while exploiting the different experiences in the European Union. Regarding the EU's priorities within the national and youth context, we focus on the social inclusion of young people in NEET situations, addressing methods and tools to respond to labor market obstacles, and promoting the acquisition of skills.
