ECOLOCALYOUTH is an initiative that arises as a result of the need to promote the creation of new economic models and initiatives that can combat youth unemployment in rural Europe and promoting the development of businesses linked to proximity products and local products in rural areas. , in a world where globalization is increasingly questioned. In addition, ECOLOCALYOUTH represents a youth laboratory of ideas where concepts as relevant to European and local current affairs as the European Green Deal (Green Deal), its line from the Field to the Table (Farm to Fork Strategy) or the new Erasmus Plus program 2021-2027. Through different activities and the use of non-formal methodology, the participants developed skills and acquired knowledge that would help them not only to be more successful in their personal and professional lives, but also to contribute to the prosperity of their communities. The objectives of the project have been: - Develop the personal and professional growth of young volunteers in relation to natural products and the promotion of self-employment. - Improve business and professional skills and learn new strategies to promote organic products through online sales. - Promote alternative economic models to unsustainable overcrowded tourism models for a post-COVID-19 era. - Promotion of multiculturalism, knowledge of the EU countries and the ability to work and share in an international European context. - Mobility of different participants from different countries that will enrich multiculturalism and the exchange of best practices at EU and local level. - Promote entrepreneurship in innovative and classic sectors, responding to new needs "post COVID-19". - Promote a new mechanism for the active participation of young people as a mechanism for their social inclusion and self-employment.
