The aim of this project was to create a multicultural experience to rethink solidarity after 2020 (after the pandemic situation). After 2 years of the project proposal, we have been able to carry it out after the lifting of the restrictions, we have managed to execute it following the initial objectives. With our project, we wanted to be the active engines of change in a post-pandemic scenario, encouraging them to design new ways to help others. In short, to create a change in the ways of volunteering, adapting to the new situation in which we live after Covid. For this reason, we have worked on the development of skills, competencies, knowledge and useful tools for future social initiatives and our professional future. We have managed to make the project a multicultural experience, in which we have been able to exchange ideas, experiences of our volunteering activities, get access to advice and support, strengthen relationships with members and associations from other countries and exchange information on challenges and objectives. Above all, we have been able to consider how to reach out to others in this new situation and how to adapt to the changes we are experiencing. Among our objectives were also to achieve: 1. To expand our solidarity initiatives. Creating activities that adapt to the current needs of each country. 2. Acquiring other language skills through exchanges. To take advantage of the multiculturalism of the participants to develop communicative and cooperative skills. 3. The development of the following learning competencies: - Social empathy and learning to identify environmental social crises. - Social entrepreneurship, developing new approaches that allow them to increase their ability to respond to social and environmental problems. - Leadership and empowerment of other young people: leading by example and responsibility. - Inspiring others: Sharing photos, videos, stories and other materials to engage both friends and new people in "becoming the change we want to see around us". As well as exchanging experiences. - Working in international teams, getting to know other cultures and fostering plurality. - Ecological responsibility. - Women's rights and empowerment. - Social inclusion. - Management skills To achieve these objectives, the project had three phases: local, during the exchange and after the exchange. The local phase, which had originally lasted 7 months, as a consequence of the pandemic has been developed over 2 years. During the exchange phase, based on the local phase, we have shared experiences, ideas... Finally, we have used the follow up phase to continue promoting activities in the future, maintain the interpersonal relationships created, design future joint activities and reflect on the learned things.
