Objectives

We want to develop intercultural dialogue, tolerance, mutual respect, solidarity of young people from different countries and backgrounds by implementing their creative abilities around this collective project. The group will work together on an artistic and cultural project. It will also allow to live a common adventure of creation, to concretely understand what makes their difference and at the same time what makes them bear common values, in order to fight against all forms of violence and to release the voices of reconciliation. The gateway to this project will be dance with physical contacts to better understand violence in all its forms. The dance activity involves a complex means of communication within which the language has its place but articulated with other languages (gestures, looks, space ...). Thus dance allows to acquire knowledge-beings, know-how which are essential values to the practice of this art. We will use dance as a tool for mediating and distancing this violence. It is also a tool of expression to give a voice to the uncivil violence born of the absence of public space of speech. Dance as the dramatization of behaviors, highlights the tensions and contradictions of the community. It can also be an instrument of understanding what is said through its violent manifestations. We want to develop intercultural dialogue, reciprocal knowledge, tolerance, mutual respect, solidarity of young people from different countries and backgrounds by leading them to participate in a collective project implementing their creative abilities. This project will better anticipate the causes of violence and we will work with young people from so-called sensitive areas, which are often stigmatized because of its high rate of violence.
