Entrepreneurial learning - entrepreneurship education

Objectives

CAP'FEM is an association composed mainly of women who have responsibilities in large companies in the area and who would like to promote women's rights. And we initiate several projects with local, national and now European dimension. And this project Support HER is a beautiful initiative on the entrepreneurship of youth workers, with a special focus on women. SupportHER is an 8-day training course (02 to 10 July 2021) for youth workers that aims to foster entrepreneurship among youth workers through a series of methods, including design thinking, in order to effectively develop solutions that can support young people during the crisis and post-crisis context, with a focus on female entrepreneurship. And with all partners, we set the following goals: - train 30 youth workers from 12 partner organizations and 10 countries to use design thinking as a tool to foster digital entrepreneurship among 18-24 year olds in their communities with a significant share to women - develop know-how on the use of different tools (management, planning, communication, etc.) for youth entrepreneurship - raise awareness and create solutions to stimulate and support post-pandemic women's entrepreneurship and digital entrepreneurship in the youth communities of partner organizations - share best practices and promote partnership between youth organizations active in the field of entrepreneurship with a focus on female entrepreneurship and digital practices. We have responded to the general E+ objectives of the Europe 2020 strategy, namely to increase employment rates, to follow innovation and to promote sustainable growth. It also corresponds to the 4th objective of the strategic framework for European cooperation in education and training (ET 2020), namely creativity and innovation, with entrepreneurship being encouraged at all levels of education and training as key drivers of sustainable economic development, and individuals being helped to acquire digital skills and develop their initiative and entrepreneurial spirit as well as their cultural awareness. In this post-pandemic context, we felt a real need to become entrepreneurial and digital, which is why we initiated and carried out this project that has a real added value for all partners. The needs of the partners converge towards a common goal, that of developing knowledge in entrepreneurship, design thinking, digital tools and inclusion. All of the partners work with youth, but only a few have experience with entrepreneurship and have been able to fully support their youth communities. By combining all of the above, our project called SupportHER aimed to strengthen and develop the best of all of us, helping all partners, through their participants, gain experience in these areas.
