By implementing this project, we wanted to highlight the crucial role that young people, civil society organizations and non-formal education can play in the fight and prevention of racism and discrimination. Racism being and remaining one of the biggest problems facing humanity, we wanted, through this project, to correspond to our role as a member of civil society and the youth sector and contribute to the one of the fundamental objectives of the EU's human rights programme: the fight against racism and discrimination. In addition, the project contributed to the 11 goals set by the European Commission for European Youth, as it enabled young people to realize their full potential and contributed to building inclusive societies based on equality and human rights. 'male. 'male. With partners from 7 different countries, we wanted, through non-formal education and in particular the use of the arts, to give the opportunity to 48 participants to better understand the existing situation in terms of racism and discrimination and the reasons that provoke them, to analyze the stereotypes and prejudices existing in their communities regarding this issue, to develop their skills and competences and to learn how to use different types of arts in order to raise awareness, to fight against these phenomena and to defend the rights of man. As the participants come from different cultural backgrounds, our priority was to create a safe learning environment, where they could express themselves without fear, share ideas and points of view, learn from each other and, together, discover the best ways to achieve social inclusion. . To do this, we used different types of methods and interactive approaches, based on non-formal education tools such as teamwork, brainstorming, media creation workshops and, of course, reflection. . and evaluation. In this way and by implementing the planned activity in Morocco, the participants became more open-minded and more tolerant of diversity and learned to behave in multi-ethnic/multi-cultural communities. The objectives of our project were: - Raise awareness of the fight against racism, xenophobia and discrimination and create a learning space for young people through non-formal education, a space for open sharing, of mixed cultures and different backgrounds through innovative tools and creative. - Highlight and promote the use of the arts, digital and non-formal education and share examples of good practice to combat racism, xenophobia and discrimination. - Create and provide an international platform for organizations to share their experiences and strengthen the use of the arts as a tool to fight and especially to prevent racism. - Better understand the opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ program and non-formal education and promote the European values of tolerance, understanding and respect for human rights. - Combat racial and ethnic stereotypes through the media, education, culture and sport. At the same time, the project helped raise participants' awareness of personal and cultural identity and its importance. - develop participants' empathy, critical thinking and communication skills - Create an inclusive and safe learning environment for participants, supporting their personal and professional development. - provide the necessary space and time for participants to develop actions against discrimination - strengthen participants' autonomy and self-esteem. Thanks to these objectives, we have enabled young people from France, Poland, Italy, Hungary, Tunisia, Greece and Morocco to acquire the necessary skills and competences enabling them to be more aware of discrimination and prejudices in their daily life, in the local community and in the society they live in, and be able to take initiatives to combat them and, better still, prevent them, learn to accept diversity, be empathetic and open-minded , and better understand other groups of young people in their community. Our project was directly linked to the objectives of the Erasmus+ program because its main objective was to raise awareness of the different realities that surround us using non-formal education to achieve this, thus highlighting the importance of education and civil society actors. . in building inclusive societies.
