The 2020 Cross-border Meeting Days aim to continue and deepen the dynamics of New Aquitaine / Aragon cross-border meetings by also opening them to Navarre and Euskadi. They will be organized in Charente-Maritime (Île d'Oléron and La Rochelle), in order to allow participants to create and strengthen partnerships, familiarize themselves with European programs through the assistance of experts, but also to encourage the birth of concrete projects. by organizing time for meetings, exchanges and writing. We have chosen to focus these JRTs around a transversal theme: the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The SDGs are a real challenge for public policies, at all levels, and must also fuel the thinking and activities of mobility projects with young people, who are the generation of tomorrow. France has had a national strategy since September 2019, reinforced at the regional level with the “Neo terra” roadmap (strong commitment of the region to protect biodiversity and fight against climate change: https: //www.nouvelle-aquitaine.fr/grands-projets/neo-terra-feuille-route-transition-environnementaleclimatique.html#gref). In Spain, it is an opportunity to continue working on the SDGs, enshrined in legislation: https://www.boe.es/eli/es/o/2019/02/22/pci169/con. The Spanish government provides a lot of information on this subject: https://www.agenda2030.gob.es/es/documentacion The SDGs are a vast and complex subject, and we will focus on their appropriation by youth actors. We will draw on the work and pedagogical devices tested by those involved in education for citizenship and international solidarity and the example of local initiatives. The SDGs will therefore be present as a central theme of exchanges and workshops, with inclusion as a problem, but also in principle of organization (catering - travel ...). We want to provide concrete answers to the question "how to integrate the sustainable development objectives into an Erasmus + project?" In summary, we have identified three major challenges: - The intercultural meeting, inscribed in a common and cross-border space, must "strengthen the international dimension of activities in the field of youth as well as the capacity of youth workers and youth organizations to help young people" and thus promote lifting of obstacles for professionals to international mobility - The project's ability to promote exchanges between professionals, while providing them with content, "will promote the improvement of the quality of youth work, in particular by strengthening cooperation between youth organizations" - The SDGs must be better identified and decoded in order to be used as supports in future projects and to initiate structural changes in our structures and our society.
