Objectives

We wanted to carry out this project because all the organisations involved in this project saw an urgent need to to empower young people with fewer opportunities, from European and non-European countries, who suffer from socio-economic, educational or geographical difficulties to get actively involved in EU projects or who have very little chance to find a job in their own or international communities. With this project, we wanted to give young people the skilsl set they need to access more opportunities in the future. The issues and needs we worked on during the project: -Means and tools to develop the key skills and life skills of young people with fewer opportunities to be actively involved in national and international activities. -Unemployment among disadvantaged youth who suffer from socio-economic, educational or geographical difficulties. -The lack of intercultural, international opportunities or experience abroad due to disadvantage means that opportunities often benefit the same types of young people who have access to information and are already in a good educational or professional situation. It is therefore up to organisations like ours and our partners to enable opportunities. -Intercultural sensitivity, misunderstanding and stereotypes that may be present in young people with fewer opportunities. Our main objectives of our empowering youth exchange: O1. Empower diverse youth with the set of needed skills through inclusion activities in order to be more proactively included in national or international EU projects or internships opportunities. O2. Stimulating active European citizenship regarding inclusion issues among young people, increases them to develop a more accepting, open-mindset. O3. Connecting 35 young people within an informal youth network to share their own experiences and good practices of inclusion in order to ensure that we have an international inclusive initiative that ensures the project aims after the mobility ends. O4. Proactively involving youth with less opportunities in EU projects through participation in this mobility. O5. Empowering 35 young people to be actively involved in youth empowerment initiatives that are related to youth inclusion and embracing diversity by creating something and engaging them in activities that boosts their presentation skills, communication skills, and critical thinking mindset. O6. Promoting the importance of European Solidarity Corps, coming up with new innovative ideas and elaborating on its sustainable impact on people and organisations when inclusion activities are actively present.
