While everyone calls for “Living Together”, society is fragmenting, experiencing deep identity cleavages, and What is the sticking point? What are the people of a country related to today? What is the sticking point? distance? How to build from the common? And if we speak of ourselves, of others, that we go back the course of our stories, from history to question cultural practices, norms and values? What does the law say? What about in fact? The life of all is above all made up of human relations, team dynamics, relationships of influence, negotiation, even to be able to share with those who share our daily life, our work, our associative or citizen implications… And many collective projects die, sometimes even before they begin, as a result of conflicts or groups that have never been able to find a stable way of functioning. From couple life to creation of businesses, everyone will find his examples… Often even, behind difficulties presented as financial or contextual, hide above all human stakes, problematic situations between people, who took all the energy and prevented them from having the perspective, serenity and foresight to overcome other types of difficulties. Working together, creating together, living together… require skills and qualities that can learning and that the present society really needs to give value back to the spirit of cooperation. In order to reflect and build this project, we wanted to build on the initial idea of the International Francophonie, which created a space of expression for young people based on the values of Respect, Solidarity and Freedom and for which the numerous and spontaneous reactions of young people around the world at the launch of the campaign Free Together (video messages posted on the platform) had demonstrated its usefulness, and the need that the young people to express and develop a positive message that goes against the messages of hate today more and more trivialized (when not politically used). This project has therefore tried to partly meet this need, but also to provide youth workers with tools, theoretical references allowing them to work themselves with other young people in their localities, on the notions of stereotypes, prejudices, discrimination,... The challenges have been both to counter the messages of violent radicalization, to value the speeches and actions positive outcomes for young people while helping them to develop. These questions and observations were both present in our daily personal and professional life and are essential in our work with the young people attending our different structures, whatever the sphere of education to which our organizations belong. The objectives of this project were varied, allowing for: - Raise awareness of 3 key values: Respect, Solidarity, Freedom; - Familiarize yourself with Living Together activities and teaching tools; - Develop skills in the conduct of non-formal education activities; - Implement Living Together activities in specific local contexts; - Act as multipliers to other youth, facilitators and youth workers and raise awareness to Living Together. The links with the objectives of the Erasmus+ programme, were on the values of the European Union seemed quite obvious: the values of respect for human dignity, freedom, democracy, equality, the rule of law, as well as respect for human rights, including the rights of persons belonging to minorities are at the heart of the content of this training. These values were common and pursued pluralism, non-discrimination, tolerance, justice, Solidarity and equality between women and men, using the methodology of Education No Formal, aimed at strengthening the skills and competences of young people, as well as their active citizenship. Within Erasmus+, education and youth participation have also been crucial in preventing radicalisation European values, promoted social integration, strengthened the understanding between different cultures and creating a sense of community.
