Objectives

The idea of this project started from an observation: within the Young Europeans Toulouse, our members are not diverse enough, even though we advocate for the idea of a Union united in its diversity. This does not allow us to target young people other than those with whom we are used to working . The starting point of this Erasmus+ adventure was a SWOT analysis (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats) in 2019. Thanks to the experience of some board members in Erasmus+ projects on social inclusion in Europe, we decided to take action and start this Erasmus project. Therefore, we wanted to carry out a contact-making seminar with various European partners in order to understand better the notion of social inclusion when working with various target groups. The multiple objectives pursued by this seminar: - To define the main challenges for the inclusion of different groups. - To define inclusion and to reflect on this issue - To allow the participants to share theire personal experiences of inclusion and exclusion. This is for helping them understand what worked out and what didn't and why. What needs to change to achieve inclusion? Everyone can then share their point of view while learning from others. - To share good practices as well as the expertise of each association in the areas of the main topics of the seminar. - To learn about how other associations work - To strengthen the collaboration and networking among participants to facilitate the creation of new partnerships. - To perpetuate the partnership of associations by developing youth projects under the Erasmus+ programme about social inclusion, the fight against discrimination, European feeling, and the development of initiative among young people.
