“Hike for Health 2.0” is a continuation of “Hike for Health” that was organized in Csolnok, Hungary in 2019. We miss the hiking activity that we took part in last year. Especially, during Covid-19 times when we are locked in our houses we believe that gaining knowledge about balanced diet and balanced physical activity is extremely important. 7 of us (3 Poles and 4 Hungarians) would like to involve our friends (5 Poles and 4 Hungarians) that have never taken part in Erasmus+ project and create version 2.0 of the project that we still come back to in our memories. We have a basic knowledge about outdoor activities and healthy, full of vitamins diet. We shared this knowledge with our peers. What we would like to focus on this time is how to find a balance. Too intense physical activity or too much attention focused on being slim might bring negative effects such as anorexia, bulimia etc. We would love to gain knowledge in this area to fully understand the problem and help our colleagues from school, residential area. We lack of knowledge on how to read the signals sent by our body. When our body is desperately “screaming” for vitamins or asking to stop exercising. Knowledge on “balance” will help us to handle hopefully “post-Covid” reality. And of course, we need to go back on the trail, get stronger thanks to hiking – we would love to share the experiences with our friends that we invited to create this application about Pilis mountains and it’s beauty. We target the following objectives: 1. Improve the level of competences and skills for 18 young people regarding balanced attitude towards themselves and the environment through non-formal education activities 2. Encouraging intercultural dialogue and active citizenship through cultural outdoor activities for 18 youth for 7 days through hiking in Pilis Mountains, exploring traditional art and crafts places; 3.Promoting a healthy lifestyle among 100 young people and citizens in Csolnok and Esztergom through flash-mob. Project’s objectives are linked to the priorities and specific objectives of Erasmus+ as young people will promote healthy, balanced development and sustainability on self and environmental levels using international exchange of good practices in the domain, intercultural dialogue and active citizenship.
