Objectives

At the youth exchange program called 'Youth on the Move', the participating young people were able to acquire relevant mobility related knowledge, digital, linguistical and other professional competences. The basic idea of our project was to exploit the potential of youth in mobility opportunities. Encounter of different cultures, cognition of other countries, learning from each other are all essential for European youth to turns more inclusive, and the education for multiculturalism can prevail. The goal of our project was to develop such skills in individuals which, as a whole, help to promote the creation of a more livable Europe and contribute in the long term to the catch up of regions/countries in a more disadvantaged situation. With these goals in mind, the following topics were focused on during the exchange program: I. Traveling for work II. Traveling for study III. Traveling for leisure The participants of our project could acquire usable knowledge and competent knowledge in the topics of mobility within the framework of non-formal program elements. The colorful and varied programs helped the young people to organize their trips much more confidently and comfortably in the future, but still consistently, preparing for possible unexpected events. Furthermore, during the joint sessions, they were able to gain very useful knowledge/experiences/new motivations - even from each other - based on which they can more courageously realize their mobility plans/dreams of study or work in the future. In view of the above, the exchange program contributed to the creation of an open-minded, accepting, purposeful European youth.
