The project idea was developed together with the young people, who started to worry that in their everyday life they face and witness the problem of disrespect and they realized that the problems mentioned above arose from intolerance and exclusion. Some of these young people were participants of our previous Erasmus Plus youth exchange projects of similar topic. They spread their experience and knowledge in their local community after these projects were over, and their friends started to get interested in this topic. To actively involve young people in the project from the very early stage, we started to develop this youth exchange together with our selected partners and some of their active participants. Main objectives, issues and needs of our youth exchange were as: We would like to improve solidarity, acceptance, tolerance and inclusion and spread these values among young people while actively involve them to the developing ang spreading process as well. Our project’s aimed also: - To improve active participation of young people. Active participation of young people in this project was already ensured by organizing own workshops and international nights, however, we further encouraged young people for active participation in their local community after the exchange as well. - To develop young people’s key competences such as entrepreneurship competence; competence in cultural awareness and expression; citizenship competence and personal, social and learning to learn -developing sense of responsibility by living together according to common rules set up at the beginning of the exchange -developing punctuality, sense of time management, responsibility and respect for each other, self-expressing and active involvement, project management and communication skills through team work -promoting EU values and EU mobility projects through, calling young people’s attention to the E+ Programme, how to improve skills and competences in order to improve employment possibilities through EU mobilities - To promote non-formal learning and cooperation between organizations The objectives of our project contributed to improve the level of young people’s key competences and skills, as well as to promote solidarity, inclusion, active citizenship and intercultural learning.
