The project aimed for 20 young people from 5 countries to spend a week together in the Börzsöny, in a natural environment, learning about each other, ourselves and our relationship with nature. To do this, we used the experience of creating and art methods, so we also had a strong focus on our aim to develop young people's creativity and to practice teamwork and cooperation through joint creation. In addition to artistic methods, we also used outdoor techniques from the toolbox of experiential education and nature-based therapy, which, among other things, contributed to the development of self-image, self-esteem and self-confidence, which was also an important goal in the project. Through the experiences of the youth exchange programme, the young people were able to find their relationship with nature, by being together in a natural environment and experiencing nature. The project's international nature also helped us achieve our goal of developing intercultural competencies and a European identity among the participants. The project also aimed to promote public awareness and social inclusion by involving young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, combat exclusion and prejudice, and give young people from disadvantaged backgrounds the opportunity to travel and meet young people from other countries. This objective was also achieved, and the week spent together was a powerful experience for several youngsters with vulnerable backgrounds.
