Objectives

With our project, we wanted to strengthen the role of the individual in the preservation of natural values, and also introduce the basic nature and environmental protection guidelines of the European Union to the participating young people, thus encouraging and preparing them for a sustainable and socially responsible way of life. We examined the impact of climate change, which was greatly accelerated by irresponsible individual and corporate management. In the course of the project, we examined biodiversity and, through it, the impact of the many threats to humanity, as well as how we can change our current consumption-centric behavior, creating conscious societies and truly responsible companies. During the Erasmus+ youth exchange, we aimed to draw attention to the decline of biological diversity and its consequences that threaten our existence. We made people aware of the importance of preserving biodiversity and that each person can do something about it, so we want to contribute to the personal development of the participants. Through examples and good practices, we also presented what civil organizations and companies do in their work to protect natural values, trusting that their example will inspire young people. We have tried to put together our program in such a way that it is as colorful as possible, as well as conveying a lot of new and immediately usable information and knowledge. We tried to convey the goal of the Erasmus+ program in such a way that the young people get to know each other's culture through non-formal methods, get the desire for a more conscious and environmentally friendly lifestyle and get the necessary knowledge to implement it, learn from each other and share their comments on the topic. In addition, the young people acquired knowledge (new technology, good practices formal and informal learning), which they adapt to our local conditions after returning home and incorporate good practices into everyday life. We hope that our project will contribute to the participants becoming active citizens.
