By organizing and implementing this project we wanted to increase the quality of active youth participation in youth councils in Reykjavik and Helsinki. The objective was to create a platform for youth workers and youth leaders engaged in youth councils and youth participatory actions for the exchange of good practice. The aim was to increase the role of youth in decision making for example through the introduction of participatory budgeting involving youth. An additional objective was to create partnerships potentially leading to future projects such as youth exchanges between Iceland and Finland.
