Social entrepreneurship is gaining increasing attention, driven by the desire for change and to see the world as it can be, not as it is. When youth recognize a problem or challenge in the world, they can use entrepreneurship skills and knowledge to organize, create, and manage activities that have the potential to change the world. Innovations that empower young people create social change agents who can influence and lead problem solving in their communities. The ability for young people to connect to each other in a multi-cultural environment and counsel each other also allows them to share and scale their own solutions. With this is mind we developed the training course "Shake the World". The aim of this project was to create awareness about the social economy and social enterprises, to increase the appreciation among youth of the role of social entrepreneurship that creates social change, and to deepen the participants' understanding of the world around them. The main objectives of the project were the following: 1. To promote social entrepreneurship and its potential benefits for young people at risk of exclusion from the labor market. 2. To explore and discuss the challenges and solutions connected to work with young people who struggle to find a job. 3. To get to know best practices of successful social entrepreneurs that reduce the unemployment level and to provide participants with inspiration in the field. 4. To popularize entrepreneurship among young people by stimulating resourcefulness and creativity. 5. To equip youth-workers and youth organizations with tools, methodologies, and techniques to develop projects on the promotion of social entrepreneurship. 6. To extend participants knowledge about initiative, innovation and creativity and their effects on social work. 7. Creating networking among young people of the European Union and Eastern Partnership Countries. In line with the priorities of the ERASMUS+ working program, "Shake The World" worked with the topics of social inclusion and equity in the field of youth work. The project was built on European values such as participation, democracy, tolerance, dialogue and solidarity. Accordingly with KA1, the project focused on youth work, promoted volunteering and it was built on non-formal education methods, building capacity and promoting innovation in the field.
