Objectives

Working with young people, many operators feel the need for updates on how developing and increasing their skills in order to operate at their best and relate to the young people so as to be able to focus on their motivations and identify their own skills and experiences. A youth worker, a youth leader, a volunteer in a youth organisation, an officer of an institution for European youth programmes, a teacher, an educator, a trainer, or simply a person who wants to help young people to carry out his own initiatives he needs to learn the right tools to open the door to young people, allowing them to take the initiative, to be active, to show their interests, to make their own contribution to development, to make the world a best place. The CT that we have created has tried to respond to these needs to increase the YW's skills in assuming different points of view and in dealing with many disciplines. This is therefore the background from which, together with the partners, we have elaborated the project to explore the concepts of Coaching, learn practical tools, methodologies, advice, information, opportunities and support to promote participation, develop one's creativity in daily life and to have their say on local interests and needs but also on major global issues. The concept behind this TC is to allow the development of young people's creativity by giving them the opportunity to test their ideas through initiatives in various areas such as: art and culture, social inclusion, environment, protection of cultural heritage, youth participation, European awareness, rural development, youth policies, health, fight against drug abuse, leisure, fight against racism and xenophobia, equal opportunities, sport, media and communication and much more. From this point of view, therefore, the objectives that we set ourselves can be summarized as follows: 1) Increasing YW skills in supporting, orienting, guiding young people in their work and personal activities, to give them the opportunity to express their skills, be able to highlight their creativity, activate processes of curiosity and wish; learn the meaning of role and task and understand that we are part of an articulated organizational and production system; learning to be part of interpersonal relationships. 2) strengthening YW skills in taking different viewpoints and dealing with many disciplines. 3) raising awareness of the importance of coaching tools, understand their importance in achieving a higher level of awareness of the potential of the young person who asks us to guide him, direct him, to influence his self-esteem and to achieve the objectives with satisfaction it places itself in private and working life for personal growth and self-realization. 4) acquiring skills regarding non-formal education and group dynamics, taking the daily experience of young people as a starting point. 5) knowing the opportunities of the Erasmus+ Program
