Objectives

The 'Let's Tell' project was born, first and foremost, out of the need of the young people of Sant'Agata de' Goti to open up to international contexts. Although Sant'Agata de' Goti is geographically located in a central position between the provinces of Benevento, Naples and Caserta, it lacks a good local transport network, which discourages travel to and from Sant'Agata. Talking to our young people, we also noticed a lack of familiarity with confrontation and the exchange of ideas. They are not familiar with debates and non-violent language, which is probably a consequence of an often immoderate use of electronic devices and social media. The last consideration made during the preliminary meetings for the project's conception is a difficult access by young people to their own imaginary world. The fairy tale was chosen as the main element of the project because it offers the opportunity to let young people freely immerse themselves in the fantasy world, offering the widest repertoire of fairy tales from all over the world, it can be a way to recreate a "dive" into the collective imagination and let it act with its own forces of enchantment, potential, possibilities. Hence the creation of the project objectives; at the level of technical-educational content: - basic teachings on the creation of educational contexts suitable for non-formal learning; - techniques and strategies for involving young people in non-formal education activities with a focus on target groups from geographically disadvantaged situations. from situations of geographical disadvantage; - basic methodologies - play as a universal learning tool and an instrument of personal development; - methodological deepening - from playing to story telling: creating change by creating new stories; - demonstrate how pro-active civic engagement can, in the long term, manifest social change and development of the environmental context. environmental context.
