"United in Social Entrepreneurship" is a youth exchange that aimed to equip participants with the necessary skills and tools to help them put their initiatives into practice and face challenges to contribute to the development of society. The project aimed to develop participants' skills, knowledge and competences towards social entrepreneurship and those in the labor market. Partner organizations researched among their target groups and the results showed that young people had the motivation to build social enterprises, but they were also afraid of failure, lack of awareness and insufficient skills. Their interests were diverse: community development, education, health care, energy, environment, youth. Therefore, the project did not limit the fields of realization and united young people with an interest in social entrepreneurship, regardless of the field in which they would like to work. In short, the idea was to help young people achieve self-employment as social entrepreneurs. Partner organizations working in this field were very motivated from the very beginning to meet and work together for this purpose. The project objectives, therefore, were the following: - Increase awareness and sense of social entrepreneurship among young people; - Strengthen young people's sense of initiative in the social field to support their communities; - Provide participants with the skills, knowledge and attitudes necessary to put their initiatives into practice; - Increase the level of confidence of the participants and motivate them to start social enterprises; - Enable participants to overcome the fear of failure and improve their positive attitude towards the job market; - Promote the transnational exchange of ideas and the transmission of skills and see the added value of diversity; - Promote tolerance, a sense of equality and solidarity; respect and encourage intercultural dialogue, non-discriminatory social integration. The "United in Social Entrepreneurship" learning opportunities were based on non-formal methodologies. This made the work more fun in a motivating environment for each participant, who felt totally free to express ideas and opinions. By maintaining an informal atmosphere, personal barriers are removed and learning is ensured. The learning process also involved participants with fewer opportunities. Hence, the project provided an ideal environment for their social inclusion and helped each participant to be equally present. Having people from different countries can cause different opinions on certain ideas, in this case, on social entrepreneurship, which inevitably leads to drawing conclusions. These conclusions can be translated into skills and knowledge and improve the key competences of young people who activate them on the job market.
