“Fighting Unemployment by Empowering Leadership Skills” was a Youth Exchange that took place in Caserta, Italy in September 2021, with the participation of 5 partner organizations from Italy, Spain, Poland, Bulgaria, and Romania. High levels of unemployment, especially among young people, is one of the biggest challenges that Europe faces today. An important step to increase the employability of the youth is professional development through the use of non-formal education methods. This Youth Exchange aimed to provide professional development through non-formal education and peer to peer learning. It is crucial for the youth of Europe to start thinking of themselves as a start-up where adapting to the ever-changing job market is a must, as well as continuous learning.
