Objectives

During the project, the participants improved their skills and were solution-oriented by sharing ideas, discussing, researching, examining different sources, evaluations, and group works. Prior to the project, they examined the situation in their countries regarding human rights and freedoms. During the project, they shared these situations with the rest of the participants and at the same time, they had a chance to learn about the situation in other countries. Next to this, each country team became responsible for leading one day's activities. This way, all participants could take the initiative and participate more actively. This helped them in terms of their self-confidence and leadership skills. Another goal of our project was to contribute to the intercultural dialogue. To do this, we gave each country to have their own cultural night during the project in which they were able to promote their own cultures in their own style. For example, they were able to show others their natural and cultural beauties, traditional dances, popular or traditional food and drinks, etc. This helped all participants learn more about different cultures and lifestyles and be more international individuals. Objectives -To contribute the solutions to those vital world problems: racism, discrimination, xenophobia and refugees. -To work on a common topic with the group to speak in front of an audience, to have effective listening and creative thinking skills. -To give participants a chance to develop their critical thinking skills. -To gain positive behaviors that will stay with them throughout their lives on humanitarian issues such as mutual tolerance, empathy, marginalization, and xenophobia. -To gain enthusiasm to fight against the thought which creates inequality and discrimination. -To promote diversity, tolerance and respect of human rights. -To enhance intercultural awareness. -To create magazines for personal or different purposes. -To learn more about intercultural dialogue and gain awareness about tolerance towards differences. -To gain knowledge about concepts such as participation in democratic life, active citizenship, intercultural dialogue, social inclusion and solidarity, refugees. -To have more active participation in society. -To have a better awareness of the European project and the EU values. -To promote non-formal learning and increase motivation for taking part in future non-formal education. -To promote actively participating in the planning, preparation, implementation and evaluation of the project. -To be able to apply for a project and benefit from more Erasmus + opportunities.
