We decided to work with our association and partners to raise awareness about the subject of the project and to increase it. Our Main was about challenges that youths are facing in their daily life and some of the biggest problems they mentioned were unemployment and crime that is coming from the unemployment, poverty, social inequalities and lack of initiative by the youth in order to make the change. We were discussing about what can be done to achieve the better in order to make the change and improve the situation and eventually idea of implementing the project "Youth activism for the better future" was born. Main objectives of the project were: 1. Empowering youth to be more socially responsible and active citizens, on local and international level; 2. Making a safe environment for participants to share their experience and culture; 3. Encouraging social cohesion; 4. Promoting youth activism as a tool for reducing unemployment and crime in the society 5. Nurturing intercultural exchange, tolerance and solidarity; 6. Inclusion of people with disabilities and people with fewer opportunities in society.
