Objectives

By implementing our project, we aimed to help the participants to be aware of other epidemics and pandemics in future. Not only the participants but also people of their locals would gain more awareness of self hygiene and public hygiene as a result of dissemination of the project. Thus, even the awareness that our participants gained might help to prevent new epidemics across Europe and so EU projects won’t be delayed again in the future and this is our basic goal of Erasmus+. In our project we explained and showed to our participants how effective hand cleaning and how social isolation are of the essence for slowing the spreading of epidemic. Also, they got an awareness of how great results of these small steps could have been. Our exchange helped the participants to get awareness of public hygiene, self-hygiene and thus public health. Basically, our objectives those we believe that we achieved for this project were: o To learn/discuss the definitions of pandemic, epidemic and endemic and increase awareness on what they’re and they’re not, o To learn proper nutrition, regular sleep, regular exercise and break bad habits, such as smoking, drinking alcohol etc, o To increase awareness on the public hygiene, sanitation and psycho-hygiene before, during and after an epidemic and the priorities of the EU and the Council of Europe, o To develop critical thinking about one individual’s sufficient hygiene and its effect on the society, o To increase the perspective of how a viral epidemic damages people’s health paying no regarding their ages, sexes, socio-economical positions, races, o To identify and share similar and different practices used in different countries in terms of fighting against Covid-19 pandemics, o To identify and share similar and different practices used in different countries in terms of individuals’ health and personal hygiene, o To promote active participation of young people by health policies, o To increase awareness of World Health Organization’s (WHO) health reports and warnings about the world’s future.
