Sign language theater work should be strengthened and established as a form of work and method in Deaf youth work. In this we will focus on: • Sign language theater work as a form of work and method in youth work among the deaf and hard of hearing. • Good practice • Co-determination for the young people. • The identity of the deaf as a linguistic and cultural minority • Prevention of abuse • Work against marginalization • The rights of deaf young people • Opportunities for deaf youth work in a European context and the opportunities that lie e.g. in the Erasmus + program and Youthpass or Europass Through this work we should also work for more job opportunities for young sign language actors and theater workers who are also involved in youth work. The participants should be encouraged to start their own theater groups for young people and in a longer longer perspective give them posibilies to create their own jobs in youth work.
