Thanks to the cooperation of youth workers from partner organizations in Poland Hungary, Italy, Croatia and Bulgaria, the project 'Games for employability' was created. After discussions, there were apparent competence gaps among youth workers and it was found that soft competencies are not given enough emphasis in schools. The discussions resulted in a project through which youth workers could share both their experience and knowledge with others. The main goal of the project was to equip youth workers with the competencies, methods and tools needed to strengthen soft competencies in them regarding teamwork, problem-solving and group communication, thus helping to increase opportunities for young people, thus those with fewer opportunities for employment. Specific objectives included: - sharing of best practices by both participants and organizations - increasing the knowledge and experience of youth workers in supporting the development of soft skills in young people entering the labor market - to broaden and systematize understanding of ideas related to social roles and group formation in order to provide young people with the most tailored support possible; - becoming better acquainted with problem-solving techniques, such as the Design Thinking approach; - better understanding and use of games - techniques for developing teamwork, problem-solving and communication skills; - to prepare new simulation games and activities for youth to support their professional development, and to train participants in the thematic scope of the project. - Create and develop networks between youth workers from other nations; - eliminating stereotypes of participants; - removing cultural obstacles.
