Objectives

Volunteering presents incredible opportunities for people to get incredible experiences in life, and in this process, people learn several new skills. Anyhow, all the skills obtained through volunteering are not being appropriately credited. Skill development through volunteering is quite useful for improving the employment rate of individuals, and it can be helpful in personal development, but unfortunately, this possibility is scantily used. Events and activities of NGOs usually stay on the engagement of volunteers and youngsters who willing to spend their time, enthusiasm, ambition, and initiative. When it is well-executed, volunteering is a success for all associated stakeholders, including: * Volunteering develops the soft and hard skills and boost self-confidence and qualification of the labor market. * NGOs gain support and extra accomplishments, which would not be possible to get without the volunteers' commitment and devotion. * Trough volunteering local population get benefits in many ways linked to the activities executed by the volunteer. In this TC, different NGOs from the EU formed a body to get an answer on how to make voluntary work more fruitful on the national and European level. Positive examples of volunteering do not reach a broader audience because the visibility measures are a limited and accurate picture is presented to in front of a few numbers of people, even if the volunteers are willingly involved in civil society initiatives. The primary aim of this partnership between "Warszawska Izba Gospodarcza" (applicant) and project partners is to highlight the importance of volunteering as a prolific pathway for skills advancement and employment. It should be affirmed that experiencing a political change process in our societies overseen to grow to more democratic alliances based on social responsibility and active citizenship. However, there is a requirement of assertive examples of enthusiastic participation and committed and devoted individuals. In the EU volunteer’s community, there is bare minimum participation of youth from disadvantages or lower socio-economic backgrounds. Unfortunately, most of the time, voluntary work is done by highly educated individuals or from a robust financial level. Volunteering can be a "ticket" for future hiring and gaining expertise in a demanding field of this work. Intercultural and interreligious dialogue, foster promotion of diversity, tolerance, values of independence, and respect for human rights, are the critical features of volunteering organizations, to address the insecurities of socially excluded young people. By performing this initiative, we will try to address the genuine demands and highlight EU values, priorities of Erasmus+ programme and produce the skills and methods to youth workers and volunteers of partner organizations for their professional development. Furthermore, this process includes digital work with young people, that is necessary to transfer the shared core values of society to hard-to-reach groups of youth. Moreover, we also to want to deter radicalization among young people. The salient objectives of "Volunteering opportunities & YW" are following: * To conceptualize the strategies with the project partners for volunteering in their work context. * To foster individual and organizational competencies in planning, performing, mentoring, and evaluating local, national, and international volunteering projects. * To develop an organizational solution for the inclusion of youth in volunteering projects. * To develop organizational schedule and policy for the most demanded progress in volunteering projects. The training course "Volunteering opportunities & YW" is linked with Erasmus+ Programme priorities by directing to volunteering projects' development and to amplify the capacity of youth-based NGOs and interested companies administering social-based activities and educational programs with the volunteers' engagement. As a result of the expanded abilities in recognizing volunteering projects, engaged citizenship and youth participation are assumed to increase on the local level promoting volunteering and social engagement among youth and expanding the perception of social and local and international activism for social development in urban and rural space. Consequently, the next preferences of the Erasmus+ Programme in the youth sector are directly addressed by "Volunteering opportunities & YW": * Development of capabilities of youth workers. * Encouragement of quality advances in youth work. * Reinforcing the international aspects of youth activities.
