Objectives

The activities concept is based on the participants needs and meet the objectives of the project as we’ll manage to improve the level of 8 key competences and skills for 18 young people and give them the possibility to learn about outdoor games from project countries. The project mobilities consist of Advanced Planning Visit and after 7 days of YE activities by playing together in a international environment, behaving responsible towards the environment applying “leave no trace” principle whenever cooking, eating and having outdoor and indoor activities; we’ll develop the self-sustainable attitude by working together with people we never met or know about, communicating in non-verbal ways, working together, being responsible of the one another’s safeness, applying being active principle in our daily life. We’ll improve our knowledge about national outdoor games and by debating upon the importance of sport and outdoor activities in daily life, by sharing games and ideas and by being ”experts” ourselves. Moreover, we’ll give it further the information on a active lifestyle by open to public activities: outdoor games and flash mob as coming from young active people these messages have more chances to reach the ears and hearts of the public. In this way we’ll reach our project objective: Promoting an active lifestyle among young people and citizens of Wetlina and having a strong positive impact upon the people participating in our activities. Just the fact we’ll be visible during our hiking routes among villages and cities will have a great impact upon the public regarding the importance of using alternative means of transport, practicing sport in general. The intercultural dialogue is going to be understood and practiced during the workshop on traditional arts and crafts, during the study visits in villages, treasure hunt recipes, cooking together with locals and with the group from 2 countries. Participants will feel and analyse diversity, will understand better where prejudices come from and break some of them, build maybe new ones.
