The objectives proposed and pursued during the project were achieved and implemented as follows: 1. The main objective of the current project was to raise awareness among young people in Europe about combating discrimination and xenophobia, preventing the violent radicalization of young people. The subjects and activities carried out during the project offered the participants the support through which they acquired the necessary skills in order to improve their ability to understand the diversity offered by immigration and to receive refugees in the European space. In the activities-results matrix, this objective was designed to be achieved through the activities of preparing materials regarding immigration in each country and through the debates that took place regarding the impact of cultural exchanges involved in this phenomenon, but also through dissemination. Participants were guided to understand the immigration mechanism and focus on it not as a problem in itself, but rather as a way to create collaborative networks, open borders and cultures, and as a generative engine in the economy, by respecting human rights and the current legislation of each country 2. The project offered the participants the chance to understand and interact with the cultural diversity of the European puzzle. Through this interaction, we aimed to achieve the goal of increasing tolerance between the participants and to create a series of intercultural, interlinguistic and interpersonal connections between the young participants in the project. The direct acquainting, the interaction both on an informational and affective level have as a direct result the deciphering of the values brought by the participants from each country. Stereotypes acquired either through a poor education or through the exaggerated campaigns of politicians or the mass media can be broken by the feedback of communication and direct acquainting. 3. The development of tools and resources based on social skills to sensitize any external agent to the theme of the project and ensure social emulation to reduce intolerance and xenophobic behaviors that lead to extremism in local communities in each country, was another objective. During the total duration of the 18-month project, the dissemination of the project's themes, activities and results offered the possibility of maintaining the participants' interest in the project's theme, providing information to a number of over 800 young people. The information about the project on the online communication and promotion channels reached a number of 400 young people, and a series of dissemination materials and information about the theme, activities, methods and results of the project reached 12 educational institutions at the local level and regionally, increasing the chances of organizations to achieve new partnerships in local communities and to develop new European projects in the future.
