We initiated the Aware & Allied project with the aim of encouraging social inclusion, by developing the social skills of young people, improving their self-awareness and the awareness on the deficient situations in their communities, encouraging initiative and civic involvement, so that young people become active, empowered and well-integrated citizens. We settled and achieved the following objectives within the project: 1) To develop the social skills of the 48 participants and to encourage solidarity and equitable behaviors through 4 motivational videos produced and distributed by participants to another 4000 people. 2) To increase the level of self-awareness and self-confidence of the 24 participants with fewer opportunities, contributing to their involvement and social integration. 3) To stimulate critical thinking and to motivate participants to get involved in raising awareness on the exclusion problems in their communities, creating 6 tools for informing another 3000 young people. Through "A&A" we aimed to contribute to the achievement the objectives considered by the Erasmus+ program for youth mobility projects, namely: development of self-confidence and the spirit of initiative of young people, acknowledgement of multiculturalism and the EU values, inspiring active social and civic participation. The proposed objectives are aligned with the European Youth Strategy 2019-2027, encouraging the involvement and inclusion of young people in society.
