We wanted to write this project to meet the needs of the Europeans youngsters and especially the ones from rural areas with whom we started to work, we and our selected partners. According to them, in rural areas the difficulty level to set up a business is higher. The young people are often influenced by their parents who were used to have a simple life, raising animals, working the field, not having in mind to be entrepreneurs. In the current context of Covid19 Pandemic, over 65% of the businesses in rural areas failed because the entrepreneurs were not able to keep their business going since there was no market for it. From this situation we realized that there is a need of education in rural areas regarding using online platforms and technology to grow up a sustainable business. Young people in this areas are not educated in using online methods for a business, these being essential nowadays, considering that, as we learned from the Covid19 pandemic, sometimes it is the only way to keep a business alive. The main aim of this project is to develop an entrepreneurship mind among young people in rural areas and to help them to learn how to open an online operated business. Nowadays, the online system is very well developed and we can make our lives much easier if we have the know how of opening an online small/big company. More specifically, we want to give 24 youngsters and 6 group leaders from Italy, Greece, Spain, Bulgaria, Lithuania and Romania the opportunity to understand better the idea of entrepreneurship, start up, MVP(minimum viable product), selling, promoting and sustaining an online operated business in the countryside, to ensure a future and at the same time to help the community they live in by offering jobs, goods and services according to their needs. The main objectives of this project are: 1) Developing the entrepreneurial spirit of 24 young people and 6 group leaders from the 6 partner countries; 2) Empowering the 24 youngsters and 6 group leaders from the 6 partner countries. in the development and implementation of small sustainable businesses in rural areas; 3) Improving the skills needed to manage, sell, promote and sustain a rural company for 24 young people and 6 group leaders from the 6 partner countries; 4) Training 24 young people and 6 group leaders from the 6 partner countries, in sustainable business management in rural areas; The objectives of the project support the objectives of the Erasmus + Program by involving rural youth in international mobility, by developing civic and entrepreneurial spirit among young people and by including disadvantaged young people in all phases of the project. By constantly speaking with the partners before the selection, we realized that we have the same needs, the need to stimulate the spirit of entrepreneurship among young people, especially those from the rural areas, also the need to have young people actively involved in the community they are part of by supplying goods and services according to their needs. With this project, we will have 26 youngsters and 6 group leaders who will understand the stages in the development of a rural company, where most young people are skeptical about starting something mainly out of fear of failure. Through this project we also respond to the needs of young people to face failure, the main reason why they do not want to be entrepreneurs. Young people will learn that they are capable of developing and sustaining a business if they follow the steps to follow and show earnestness and perseverance. Moreover, the project also offers a different perspective, namely the development of international bilateral business in rural areas; young people from 6 European countries will learn to work together and understand the benefits of an international business.
