Pollution today poses a significant threat to the survival of our world. Smoke or dust released in the air is the primary type of pollution as it is awful for humans and directly affects the lungs. Sewage, the harmful content in drinking water, is another primary type of pollution that makes people unhealthy and ill because it contains disease-causing germs and viruses. The environmental consequences of sudden rapid industrialization have resulted in various incidents of land, air and water resource sites being contaminated with toxic materials and other pollutants, threatening humans and ecosystems with serious health risks. A youth exchange, "Act Ecologically," was hosted in Kobuleti, Georgia, from September 26th - October 2nd 2022 (+2 travel days). It involved 30 young participants from 5 different countries Georgia, Turkey, Sweden, Lithuania and Ukraine. The project's core aim was to increase ecological responsibility and teach methods of improving the environmental state. To reach the key aim of the project mentioned above, the following objectives have been set: 1) Increase social and ecological responsibility by providing effective methods ; 2) Explain the importance of a zero-waste lifestyle and how to Adapt the 5R (Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Repurpose, Recycle) rule in daily life; 3) Address the issues of air, water and ground pollution, lack of eco-consciousness, and deforestation. Discuss the possible solutions to prevent environmental problems; 4) Educate self-consciousness and advise how to develop good habits such as: recycling, avoiding food waste, choosing reusable items etc.; 5) Promote sustainable lifestyles in their communities to reach a bigger audience.
