Objectives

By carrying out the project, we wanted to draw attention to the importance of a healthy mind and preventive activities against stress. In this, especially young people were exposed, as the period of growing up is stressful and demanding in itself. The environment imposes new and higher demands, obligations and expectations on young people. The current crisis due to the covid-19 pandemic has further increased this stress among the entire population of people, especially among young people, who were suddenly isolated from their friends, and also had to move all activities (school, socializing...) to the Internet and computers, from where we chased them away a few months ago. By carrying out this project, we wanted to convey the message of a healthy lifestyle to young people, and above all to explore different and effective ways and techniques of dealing with stress. In this way, young people from six different countries were able to take the acquired knowledge to their own environments and present preventive methods and techniques that will make their everyday life easier, and with this they will be able to live a fuller and more positive life. The goals of our project were to educate and raise awareness among young people and the general public about the importance of a healthy lifestyle, healthy diet, physical activity, knowledge of various strategies for dealing with stress; encouraging the public to a healthy lifestyle; encouraging young people to play a more active role in their local communities; reducing the occurrence of stress with effective stress coping strategies; promotion of intercultural dialogue, acceptance of difference and diversity, strengthening of European identity and values among young people; increasing young people's awareness of various Erasmus+ projects; encouraging critical thinking, informal learning and the acquisition of various competences (language, communication, organizational and digital competences, creative and analytical thinking, the ability to work independently and in a team, strengthening interpersonal and intercultural relations).
