We decided to implement the project because entrepreneurship is increasingly popular among young people these days. There are several reasons for this and they are different: from personal reasons, high basic education costs, lack of education programs for the socially and economically weak, many young people do not have the opportunity to get an education. On the other hand, many young people are too educated for the needs of the labor market, which in turn leads to unemployment among highly educated young people. Young people are no longer employed in the same way as they used to be, it is much more convenient for them to create something of their own and to be independent in their work. Due to the consequences of the coronavirus, the economic crisis and the recession in Europe, young people have to deal with the problem of unemployment. That is why the young people in the POMAJU organization decided to connect with young people in Europe as part of the RE-START EUROPE youth exchange project and acquire competences in the field of entrepreneurship, how to recover from the coronavirus crisis, find solutions, and learn the basics of marketing through informal learning and acquired the knowledge of how to use our potential and successfully market it, after the end of the youth exchange we can claim that we have become more active. The goals of the RE-START EUROPE project were to acquire knowledge about entrepreneurship and the development of online companies; get to know the basic concepts of entrepreneurship, online entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial process, business plan; to determine the impact of the Internet on the way of doing business in entrepreneurship; to investigate how successful are companies run by young people; to see supportive environments for promoting youth entrepreneurship (we exchanged examples of good practices); preparation of a business plan (online promotion, marketing of online sales of products); developing business ideas against the COVID-19 virus; based on our own examples and examples from other countries, we investigated what encouraging youth entrepreneurship is like. Through cooperation, we found solutions and learned about examples of good practices in European countries; we investigated the impact of the COVID-19 virus on entrepreneurship, s.p.je, and the economy in each country; through informal learning, we learned the basics of marketing and gained knowledge on how to use our potential and successfully market it; we encouraged intercultural dialogue, built and strengthened European identity and values among young people; we increased young people's awareness of various Erasmus+ projects and other opportunities available to them, encouraged young people to continue their education, participate in other projects, and become active citizens. As part of the activities, the participants of the RE-START EUROPE youth exchange project investigated youth entrepreneurship in the participating countries, how to recover from the coronavirus crisis, and learned about examples of good practices in solving the problem of youth unemployment in Europe. Through various activities, we learned how we can upgrade and develop our hobbies, our skills and abilities in the field of entrepreneurship into our own entrepreneurial idea, which will possibly lead us to self-employment.
