With the project, we wanted to make young people of three countries aware of recycling, upcycling, ecological handling of raw materials and waste material. We taught young people how to reduce the amount of waste, which also indirectly affects weather changes in Europe. At the same time, with the help of over-cycled products, we wanted to provide young people with relaxation areas in and around schools - a Hugge atmosphere. Upcycling is a waste management model where the quality of the material is better than before the product is discarded. It is therefore about the processing of already used, waste materials into new products. With this, we have reduced the amount of waste that takes up valuable space in landfills, and we have also reduced the consumption of natural raw materials that we otherwise need to manufacture new products. By over-cycling, we made a significant contribution to reducing pollution and preserving our environment and the planet. The aims of our project were: • the issue of sustainable development • the issue of climate change • the issue of recycling and upcycling • the issue of ecological waste management • the issue of the circular economy • the need to employ socially vulnerable groups • alertness We also connected the important goals of the Erasmus+ project: • we increased the international dimension (e.g. cooperation with partner countries), • we upgraded the acquired knowledge, • we made young people aware of ecological awareness, especially of rational waste management, (less clothing and textiles disposed of in landfills in the local environment, saving of raw materials, less pollution in the local environment and beyond), • we took care of mental health, care for nature, disease prevention, • we promoted equality and included access for participants from backgrounds with fewer opportunities (e.g. economic barriers, social barriers and cultural barriers), • we trained and aimed to develop specific skills, • we acquired the competences of cooperation, communication and teamwork among young people, we upgraded good communication skills, mutual respect and cooperation among young people, • we made sure to respect the culture of a good community, • we improved the level of knowledge of a foreign language (English ...) • we communicated directly, on a daily basis, in a foreign language, • we increased motivation and self-confidence among young people, • with the project, we encouraged involvement in other international projects, • we learned about the laws of the business environment of other cultures and the behavior of business entities, • we got to know new cultures and customs, which will make it easier for young people to understand and accept differences and thus become more tolerant of those who think differently, which is a condition for the development of intercultural dialogue, • we developed social competences or skills of a successfully functioning community - the project is an excellent opportunity for mutual cooperation between young people, youth leaders, teachers, parents and organizations involved in the project, • we developed self-initiative skills and the ability to perceive and solve problems, • we developed the competence of responsibility among young people, • we prepared comparisons and analyzes of good business practices from the economic environment abroad with the domestic (local) environment.
