Contrary to the environment of respect, equality and tolerance which has become a global priority with the expression of fundamental rights and freedoms in every field in today's world; the issue of racism and xenophobia, which includes insults, exclusion and violence, stands out as a problem facing the whole world in general and modern European societies in particular. At this very point, the idea of highlighting the unifying characteristics of the differences that cause racism and xenophobia, rather than the separating features, constituted the main purpose of our project. For this purpose, the subject of gastronomy has been preferred as a unifying and bringing together element; because eating is one of our most common habits that are valuable when eaten together and symbolizes unity and integrity. On the other hand, the place where we want to realize our project is the city of Hatay, which was registered as a Gastronomy City within the scope of UNESCO Creative Cities Network in 2017 and as it is known, our city has hosted many civilizations throughout history; Today, it is an ancient and multicultural settlement where different cultures live together in tolerance. In this respect, our project aims to bring together the cultures of the European geography with different characteristics on the common ground of gastronomy; On this occasion, it provides a basis for young people from various cultures to get to know each other with respect and tolerance. On the other hand, our project aims to draw attention to the richness arising from differences, to emphasize the similarities; thus, it enables positive intercultural interaction to be promoted to the maximum extent. For the determination of the problem in question, analysis of the current situation in general and specific context and for the general purposes highlighted in this regard; The sub goals of our project can be listed as follows: • To promote multiculturalism and intercultural learning by bringing together different cultures; In this way, to create a positive interaction on European geography, culture and values, • To contribute to breaking the prejudices against differences, • To ensure European cooperation in global problems, • To increase the awareness level of young people on issues that concern the whole world in general, and the European continent in particular, and to directly involve them in solution oriented practices, •To support young people's active participation and strengthening their ability to take responsibility, • To enable different cultures to introduce their culinary cultures and cooking traditions, • To strengthen the cooperation between the project partners and carrying it into the future, • To contributing to the dissemination of the Erasmus + program.
