Occupational health and safety and sustainable health policies are one of the important headings in our country's harmonization efforts with the European Union, which is one of the reasons for realizing our project. However, the innovations introduced with the partially harmonized legislation did not show the expected effect in terms of the reduction of occupational accidents, and occupational accidents and occupational diseases have started to increase not only in our country but also in the world in recent years. In addition, we think that we cannot explain the development of occupational health and safety without processing the importance of knowing basic first aid interventions. Throughout his life, people can always encounter situations that require first aid. We think that the life of the patient or injured can be saved with timely and simple and effective first aid. In accidents and sudden illnesses, the patient or injured person can be taken to the doctor or hospital alive, depending on the immediate provision of knowledgeable first aid. Therefore, learning basic first aid interventions is inevitable in the development of occupational health and safety. Even in the developed European Union countries, the fact that it is not possible to reduce occupational accidents and diseases for many years despite all these measures shows that it is not an easy task to fight occupational accidents and diseases. On the other hand, the gradual decrease we have seen in occupational accidents and diseases in the European Union countries for the last ten years indicates how important the implementation dimension of the measures taken is. In this respect, the conclusion to be drawn for our country; Not to change the legal regulations at once and expect our employers and employees to obey these rules; To ensure that the importance of working in a healthy and safe environment is understood and basic first aid interventions are learned by creating an awareness about occupational health and safety. Therefore, with the project we are considering to implement, it is aimed to create a great awareness about the subject of our project both locally and internationally at the point of improving occupational health and safety and learning basic first aid interventions, understanding what the mistakes are about this issue and eventually increasing the interest in this subject. Another issue that we also emphasize in the online meetings we hold with our project partners is that it is very important for us and our participants to be in an efficient project process, especially for those who do not have enough knowledge about project writing. In this way, it will be assisted that these organizations become project coordinators in the process. It is aimed to develop the key competencies of the participants who will participate in our project during our project process. Participants who develop their key competences will recognize their own competences and abilities and thus continue to improve themselves. Our participants will see an effective project process in our project. Participants who see this process in our project are also aimed to write projects within our own partners and in their own regions. Thus, they will be helped to write new projects. Within the scope of the project, it is aimed that institutions working in the field of youth will improve their volunteer profile and make more effective studies about the importance of occupational health and safety of these institutions and teaching basic first aid interventions. In this way, the importance of human life and the emergence of more effective activities for young people will come into question. The European Union has also set targets for 2030 in the field of health and welfare. With this project, it is aimed to increase awareness towards these targets and to contribute to the achievement of 2030 health and welfare targets. With the exhibition we will hold at the end of the project, attention will be drawn to the importance of occupational health and safety and the importance of knowing the basic first aid information in emergencies, and the brochures we will distribute will reveal how much we attach importance to first aid. The goals we want to achieve by implementing our project are much more.
