With the project we wanted to achive social cohesion among refugees and host communities in Şanlıurfa and in the region in general. We want to achive social cohesion to create awareness through art. One of the main objectives of our project was to bring youth workers together to have workshops on art and how art can be used in youth work. For this reason we had several workshops, activities to have the idea to use art in the youth work in the field of migration. In sum: Developing a sense of social cohesion / harmony between host society and refugee societies through art, together with the achievement of social cohesion / harmony, to build a society closer to each other culturally , psychologically and to live in mutual solidarity and free from violence. The asylum seekers has experienced a lot of unfortunate situations in the host countries and they do not feel themselves as guests in the countries they seek asylum in so organizing artistic activities will help to ensure social cohesion and prepare an environment for people to get to know each other, to create an environment where everyone can live freely under the same sky without discrimination of language, religion or race since art is a universal language.To sum up as a result; Ensuring social cohesion / harmony between host society and refugee communities by developing a sense of empathy through art. In this way, to have the chance to live in a society where people are in solidarity with each other and free from violence.
